Always a good time!
Who brought the cukes?
Best 5K ever!
I'd like to first thank...
So Darin and I LOVE the Office. It’s a rare occasion that it does not get quoted in our daily conversations. So this week for our family home evening activity we made friendly reminders that the season premiere is on Thursday. How do you make a statement in the Office? You put it in Jell-o…and that’s just what we did!
We made little notes that had the date, time and station that the show would be on. We let them sit overnight and had a good old fashion run at doorbell ditching!
We laughed and laughed because as Darin put it, “this is what you do when you don’t have kids…dumb stuff like this!”
We made a total of 5 presents. As far as I know, nobody got mad or punched the wall. Nobody had to go to “management training” – aka anger management! Tonight Darin was leaving to go and play ball and this is what was on our porch:
Yes folks, it’s a Dundie! We have arrived! For this I would like to thank my husband for the good sport that he is and that we can do funny things like this together. To my neighbors for giving us this Dundie. For the TV show that gives us such inspiration. For laughter and funny things like Jell-O and trophies! This is so great…so don’t forget…Thursday, 8:00, NBC...you know where I will be!

Forever Laker
Rectors, Kevin and Jenn Sanders, Corey and Elisa, Megan and Ryan, Scott and Jodie Simpson Cheep, Cheep...bawk, bawk....waddle, waddle, waddle, waddle
Sarah Morris, Darin, Kevin, Andrea Ungrin
This weekend was Darin's 10 year reunion. He won the prestigious title of "Forever Laker" because he lives the closest to BHS. He had a great time talking with old friends and I am grateful that his friends have such great wives! Not many people would dance, but that didn't matter to our group, because there was usually at least one person out there all night! Darin made some good friends in high school and I am grateful that we can still call them friends after 10 years! Go Lakers!
And that's no TOURO!!!
Meet me at the Fair!!!
Human Genome Project!
I said that the next post that I would do would be to show you how truly nerdy I am…and that’s why Darin married me!
It was Scott’s (co-worker) last day at work because he was leaving to medical school. Good luck, Scott! I tried to think of a creative cake to make for the group. Things passed through my mind like a stethoscope, bones, a heart…no good. My inspiration came when I saw the black frosting at the store. Of course! A karyogram!!! So here it is…the human genome. The best part about it was that before we cut it, we tried to analyze it! And to my despair it was noticed that I had forgotten to put chromosomes 21 and 22 on the cake. I won’t point them out, because I pray that you don’t notice it either!
